Posted October 18, 2018 07:14:47A bit of a wait for Overwatch Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but you’re getting that now.
As of today, the publisher has officially announced that the upcoming Battlefront: Bad War expansion will be available to download on October 23rd.
You’ll need to head over to the Overwatch Battlepage to download the beta, which will allow you to play the multiplayer game against players of the same gender, nationality, and gender identity.
That will let you battle the bad guys on a team of your own, but there are no restrictions on the number of people on the server.
As a quick note, if you’re playing with friends on Battlefront, you’ll be able to access the same map in Overwatch that you would in the campaign, and that will include the new maps from Battlefront 2, Battlefront 3, and Bad Company.
The maps aren’t available yet in Overwatch, but that’s because the developers are still working out the final details for how the game will handle map changes in the future.
If you’re interested in the beta and don’t mind waiting a bit longer, you can grab the full patch for free from Blizzard’s website, or you can sign up for the beta via a beta keys program.
You’ll need the beta key for Overwatch’s multiplayer, and you’ll need it to get access to the multiplayer beta.
If you’re looking to play with friends in Overwatch and you’re willing to wait, you may want to check out a free trial of the game for Overwatch that’s available through Steam, Xbox Live Arcade, and PlayStation Network.
The Overwatch Battle page has already been updated to show the map changes coming to Bad Company: Bad World, so it’s possible you won’t have to wait much longer for the next major update.
Overwatch Battleday is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and there’s no word on whether or not it’ll launch on PC or PlayStation 4 in the near future.
